Are you new to rowing or have you been away from it for a while? Learn how to get the most out of your Indoor Rowing Machine in an easy to follow along, 1-hour interactive lesson sponsored by the Upper Valley Rowing Foundation. We will go over the following basics to help you get started:
Setting the adjustable features for comfort
How to use the monitor for workouts and fitness feedback
What goes into proper technique

UVRF is pleased to offer Virtual Erg Workouts (VEWs) from January through May, 2021. The workouts are held Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 6:30 to 7:30 AM using zoom. Recordings of each workout are also available for people who cannot make the 6:30 start time. The weekly pattern consists of steady-state or low intensity workouts on Monday, medium to medium-hard workouts on Wednesday and short, hard intervals on Friday.
Follow along or just row at your own pace, picking up a steady stream of technique tips along the way. Bike ergs are also welcome! Two 10-week sessions (30 workouts each) are offered with a one week break in between.

The VEWs are open to UVRF members and non-members. Sign up for one 10-week session or sign up for two and get a discount!
Board meetings are open to all members of UVRF. They are held on the first Monday of every month, starting at 5:45pm. During the pandemic, board meetings are held using zoom. The next scheduled meetings are:
