Cancer Recovery Through Rowing

Join our Team!

No experience necessary! A FREE land and water-based rowing program open to all women and men living with cancer and beyond.


Research proves that exercise is key to cancer recovery and quality of life for survivors.

Who is CReW for?

If you have been diagnosed with any type of cancer, you are invited to join our FREE  CReW. No experience, fitness level, or skill necessary, just an interest in trying something new with other survivors and doing something fun and positive with your body. Stop by one of our ongoing Tuesday/Thursday 5:30 - 6:30 pm erg sessions and give it a try. No committment required.

Why Join?

Research proves that moderate exercise during and after treatment:

  • Lessens fatigue

  • Strengthens bones

  • Improves balance

  • Improves sleep

  • Improves your physical health and overall quality of life

  • Lowers the risk of anxiety and depression

Indoor Rowing Program

Drop in Tuesdays and Thursdays for our FREE Twice Weekly indoor Rowing Program.

  • Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. @ the Burnham Erg Facility, 57 Hanover, St. Lebanon, NH

  • **NEW SESSION ADDED*** Saturdays 9 - 10:00 a.m. @ the Burnham Erg Facility, 57 Hanover, St. Lebanon, NH

  • Starts Tuesday, January 21, 2020 and ends Thursday, May 28


Prouty Rowing Program

Commit to Our FREE 6-Week Prouty Rowing Program (on the water)

  • No experience necessary!

  • Learn to row on the water in Upper Valley Rowing Foundation rowing shells

  • Starts Tuesday June, 2 - 2X/WEEK

  • Ends with participation in the Prouty Rowing Event, Sat. July 11, 2020
